Fresh from a local estate is this vintage MCDONNELL DOUGLAS ASTRONAUTICS COMPANY "HARPOON" promotional medal. The Harpoon is an all-weather, over-the-horizon, anti-ship missile manufactured by McDonnell Douglas. The heavy metal medal measures approx. 1 1/2 x 1 1/8 and in excellent overall condition as you can see. We believe that this may have been from a promotional keychain.
