Red Breasted Merganser, mated pair: Drake and Hen, this is a decorative pair not intended for hunting, highly detailed, feather texturing, wing feathers are relief carved, glass eyes, intricate bill carving, the birds are signed, numbered and dated on the bottom of the carvings. Measure approximately 17” inches long, 6” inches wide through the mid body section and stand 6.5” inches tall. This pair will look great wherever they are placed on display. These mergansers are solid wood and have been hand painted to reflect the colors and realistic appearance of the species.
