Lima 204700 BR Class 37 201 Diesel Loco Transrail Dutch Yellow & Grey - OO Gauge

Excellent example of the Lima Collection British Rail Class 37/0 co-co diesel locomotive with domino headcode no. 37201 'Saint Margaret' in one of the more unusual but undoubtedly fetching liveries of the early post-privatisation era.  Under Transrail ownership and featuring their corporate logo, but still wearing its 'Dutch' Engineers' yellow & grey livery with double arrow logo still under the cab, it is a classic example of the kind of hybrid appearance many diesels took on in those early days.

Not now a particularly common or easy to find model.

Cosmetic condition is generally near mint, having come from a large collection of impeccably looked-after and sparingly run Lima locos.  Metal wheel rims show virtually no sign of track running.

Powered by a pancake type ringfield motor with current collected from both bogies, it has been track tested and is in full working order.

Will be carefully packaged up for dispatch via tracked service.

We have a wide selection of preowned model railway items in our store including a range of other Lima locos, with stock being added regularly.   We are always happy to combine postage on multiple purchases.
