This is such a sweet little birdhouse! With heart shaped windows in the front, sides and back that glow when the ornament is plugged in. The main body of the house is a painted wood-look with a mint-green paint. The trim both framing and scallops on the front are painted a darker olive green. Two front windows are trimmed with light blue with mustard-yellow shutters. There is a portico over the front door/hole to enter the birdhouse. There is snow covering the base under the birdhouse, roof and stone-look chimney cap. Little bird footprints are going over both sides of the roof and on the front "porch" in the front where the two cardinals, one male and one female are sitting. A plaque under the cardinals has 1997 marked on it. Three holly leaves and berries hang over the front of the birdhouse scattered with snow. Push the button in the center of the chimney and the birds will sing. The lights from inside the birdhouse remain lit while the ornament is plugged in and power is on to the light string.
