1959 TOPPS BASEBALL CARD (#382) of CURT SIMMONS of the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES. This card has some corner wear and maybe a little light border wear. Overall still excellent with its original colors.
Simmons, one of the original "Whiz Kids", pitched for the Phillies from 1947-1960. He went 17-8 in the Phillies "Whiz Kids" season, winning the National League pennant. He also pitched seven seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals (1960-1966), going 18-9 in '64. In 1993 he was inducted into the Philadelphia Phillies Wall of Fame.
