An exceptional find for football memorabilia collectors. These are the original printed silks issued by Godfrey Phillips.
The standout piece is the Woolwich Arsenal silk, issued before the club moved to Highbury and shortened its name. It is accompanied by other historic clubs including Everton, Notts County, and the now-defunct St. Helens Recreation.
• Series: League Colours (Series M86).
• Historical Note: Features the early 20th-century lace-up collar kits.
• Format: Loose, original silks.
Genuine antique condition from approx. 1914. This rare lot of 4 football 'League Colours' silks includes the highly collectible Woolwich Arsenal (pre-name change). Silks show bright colors with some age-related foxing/spotting and typical fraying to the raw edges. Unmounted with no glue residue on backs. Rare survivals for a serious sports historian.
