Features a hinged, dual-section workspace lined with blue velvet Underneath the folding flaps lie hidden compartments for storing paper, envelopes, and personal letters. The top section includes dedicated storage cutouts for housing inkwells and including two glass wells, a curved pen tray with a metal pen engraved 'Wallace'. The front is fitted with a classic brass lock and its matching skeleton key to protect private correspondence, unfortunately doesn't lock. Also includes antique medical surgical instrument set from the 19th century. The set was produced by T.L. Hausburg in Liverpool, known for its medical instrument manufacturing. Monogrammed on lid 'AS'. Pink velvet underside. Measures 13 x 9.5 inches.
