I was fortunate recently to be able to acquire a good collection of antique & vintage sterling silver cycling prize fob medals dating from the 1890s up to the 1960s. I am now putting these medals up for auction at very reasonable starting prices (ofter below the sterling silver scrap price) but with a Buy it Now option for anyone who does not wish to wait.
This example is:
A sterling silver & enamel cycling lapel badge/medal from the 1920s relating to Catford Cycling Club.
The front of the lapel badge is designed around a bicycle wheel topped with a crown. It is embossed:
"CATFORD C.C. GOOD FELLOWSHIP"
The obverse is not engraved.
