Bought this Powerbook from eBay to repair my own Powerbook and a Mac Mini. After doing the repairs this is what I know about this donor unit:
Display: Faulty, see picture.
Keyboard/trackpad: Untested, non-backlit version.
Logic board: Tested working, 1.33 GHz version, see System Profiler picture. No thermal paste applied when reassembling it.
Disc drive: Faulty, won't accept/auto-load a disc but if a disc is manually mounted with the cover off it will read it fine. Probably repairable.
Disc drive connector: Broken and irrepairable.
Battery: Tested working, aftermarket/third-party replacement. Good for about 90 minutes.
Chassis: Badly corroded, dented, stained, and scratched up in many areas including internally.
Airport connector: Corroded and irrepairable.
Airport card: Untested.
Hard drive: Untested.
CPU fans: Tested working.
RAM: Tested working, 1x 256 MB DDR-333 & 1x 512 MB DDR-333.
Light sensors: None present.
Anything that is not mentioned here should be regarded as untested and sold as-is, ie. PCMCIA connector, USB/DC daughterboards, etc. I will not test any further.
