Advanced Plating Aluminium Wraparound Bridge Tailpiece Vintage Gibson Style (Nickel)
The Advanced Plating Aluminium Wraparound Bridge is designed to replicate the vintage tailpieces used on '50s Gold Top Les Paul, Les Paul Junior, Les Paul Special and other iconic Gibson guitars.
Advanced Plating makes the ABR-1 bridges and stop tailpieces for Gibson Historic and Custom Shop guitars and this is made from lightweight aluminium just like the originals too. The wraparound bridge is designed as an upgrade part and so comes as just the body, posts/studs are not included (we stock vintage spec long steel tailpiece studs and well as locking posts as separate items). Intonation is adjusted via Allen/hex screws behind the bridge posts that can be adjusted to move the whole bridge backwards and forwards and also slant it to add more intonation room to heavy bass strings. The tailpiece will fit onto the existing posts of the vast majority of metric 'import' guitars (Epiphone, Schecter, ESP LTD etc.) with 82 mm post spacing and also the vast majority of imperial USA made guitars with the standard 3 1/4" post spacing (e.g. a Gibson Les Paul).
