About the Artist:
Born in Cienfuegos, Cuba in 1919, Hecto I. Vidal emigrated to the United States in the early 1960s. The beauty of his homeland inspired a lifetime of colorful, impressionistic works celebrating Cuban culture and scenery. He painted continuously until his passing in 2008.
