A Northern Summer or Travels round The Baltic through Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Prussia and part of Germany in the year 1804 by John Carr. Printed in London 1805 by Richard Phillips.

480pp, full leather binding is rubbed/bumped with small losses, front board almost detached, all illustrations as called for, one being a fold out with 5cm split at bottom of fold. A few handwritten annotations. Light foxing/yellowing throughout, more so either side of the illustrated plates. Marbled end papers, Bookplate for John Arden of Chester and Pepper Arden Hall, North Yorkshire, 1805.

It measures 22cm x 27cm x 4cm and weighs 1670g.
