(345)This listing is for a beautiful Antique (c early 1900s) Leatherette Canteen, containing a PART Set - Eleven Pieces of 'Grecian' Pattern Rd773916 Silver Plated Fruit Cutlery - 6 x Forks & 5 x Knives, retailed by 'Cross Crouch & Company' 'The Cardiff Silversmiths' and manufactured by the high end silversmiths 'W & G Sissons' of Sheffield. The Knives which measure 16.6cm are marked 'W & G S' A1, EP, and the Forks which have three tines, measure 15.3cm and are marked Rd773916. The set which is presented in a cream satin and black velvet lined leatherette canteen measures 27cm x 19.5cm. The cutlery in excellent condition, quite possibly unused. and it would make an elegant addition to an afternoon tea or formal dinner table setting.
