This elegant vintage oval shell cameo features a finely detailed high-relief carving of a classical lady in profile. She has beautifully rendered wavy/curly hair adorned with flowers and a decorative headband, with draped clothing and a floral/butterfly motif near her shoulder. The crisp cream-white carving contrasts beautifully against the warm orange-amber natural shell background.
A classic romantic/Victorian-style cameo cabochon, perfect for setting as a pendant, brooch, or ring. Unmounted (no jewelry setting on the reverse).
