John Rose

A George V solid silver cigarette case of rectangular form. In good overall condition with some light wear, doesn't quite close flush o one corner but otherwise closes tightly. Good heavy gauge silver with engraved acanthus scroll decoartion to front and back, with original gilding to interior, engraved dateb 2.7.27 inside, impressed Rd. 711853 to exterior. Hallmarked Birmingham, 1924 by maker John Rose. 8.5cm x 6.8cm x 1.8cm, 73.6g.
