Samuel Pemberton

A late 18th century solid silver patch box or snuff box by Samuel Pemberton. Of oval form with bright cut engraved shield and swag design to the hinged lid and engraved monogram EC. In very good condition with good hinged lid, good design and no splits or major dents, some slight separation at the back of the lid due to the hinge but very minor defect. Impressed with maker's mark for Samuel Pemberton to base, circa 1790. 3.9cm x 3.1cm x 0.8cm deep. 12g
