Gadwall drake and hen, sleeper pose, glass eyes, hand carved and painted, carved from high density cork, heads and tails are wood and inset into the cork body, this pair is not full size,they are roughly 1/2 scale, the drake and hen measure approximately 10” inches long, they are 4” inches wide through the mid body section and stand 6” inches tall. This pair is truly one of a kind, they were originally drawn out free hand directly on the cork without a pattern, so they will never be duplicated or created again, signed and dated on the bottom: “Stor Johann 95”. The cork provides a different texture, which reduces the sheen of the acrylic paints. Made in the same skill as a working decoy, however this pair is made for display, the custom made stand is included.
