Hershey Creamery Company was founded in 1894 by brothers Jacob, Isaac, Paris, Ephraim, and Eli Hershey on a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania farm. Interestingly, they were entirely unrelated to Milton S. Hershey, the founder of the famous chocolate company, which has led to several trademark disputes between the two.
