Here we have a pack of M6 x 1.00 Pitch Washer Based Chrome Plated Dome Nuts.  Will finish off your restoration nicely.  They are 12mm tall.

Please remember to use some anti-seize lubricant, like copper grease, to ensure the nuts come out as easy as they went on.
