Glued to MusicThis Advanced Plating Nashville Tune-o-matic Bridge is in the newer Gibson style with 5 mm post mounting holes.
Advanced Plating makes Nashville Tune-o-matics for Gibson (as well as many of their ABR-1s and tailpieces) and since 2012 Gibson has used this newer style with slightly larger 5 mm holes for the top section of the bridge posts (as opposed to the original 4 mm) on some Les Paul and other guitars, particularly from their 'Modern' range. This bridge is designed as an upgrade part and so comes as just the body, posts/studs are not included (we stock posts with a 5 mm top section as a separate part). The bridge features their patented saddles which have custom shaped string slots for each saddle to suit most standard string gauge sets (9s, 10s, 11s) without needing to slot. The specially shaped slots are also designed to provide the right amount of string contact to maximise sustain and minimise buzz and produce the correct break angle across the back of the saddle for the string's path to the tailpiece.
These are not suited to Epiphone of other guitars made in East Asia that use the large 8 mm threaded body bushing as bridge conversion posts are not readily available with a 5 mm top and 8 mm bottom thread.
