Application Guide

Follow these steps to ensure a solid bond on your preferred material:

  1. Heat Your Iron: Set your press or iron to a medium-high setting (ensure steam is turned completely OFF).
  2. Position the Patch: Place the patch in your desired position on a clean, completely dry garment or bag.
  3. Cover to Protect: Place a thin cloth (like a pillowcase or parchment paper) directly over the patch to protect the premium surface from direct high heat.
  4. Press Firmly: Apply firm, even downward pressure with the iron for 20-30 seconds. Do not move the iron back and forth.
  5. Secure the Back: Turn the garment or fabric inside out and apply heat directly to the back of the patch area for another 15-20 seconds.
  6. Let it Set: Allow the patch and material to cool completely before moving or wearing to let the adhesive fully lock into place.

Note: For heavy-use workwear, rugged shop jackets, or apparel items subjected to regular laundering, a quick perimeter stitch is always recommended for a bond as permanent as a vintage small-block engine.
