This is a ridiculously rare promotional bumper sticker, distributed to science fiction, horror, action and fantasy film fans, ahead of the release of John Carpenter's Escape From New York, Co-written, co-scored, and directed by John Carpenter, it stars Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasence, Isaac Hayes, Harry Dean Stanton, and Adrienne Barbeau.. The over sized bumper stickers were handed out for free (one to a person) to attendees at a Science fiction movie fan convention in Wichita, Kansas in the summer of 1981. I assume they were distributed in other states and venues as well, but I have never run across another one, so I guess it is possible that it was a one-off. I really have no way to know the value of the sticker, so I am putting it up for auction and letting the collector community decide.
