Fresh from a local estate is this rare vintage MASQUERADE COSTUME by BEDFORD - BAYSHORE INC. in New Bedford Mass. The box measures approx. 9 x 11 x 2 and is in overall good condition with a little smoosh and missing the top side flaps as you can see. There are also tears on the back of the box. The box states that the outfit is a "SPACE GIRL" and inside we found a SPACE EXPLORER dress so the description is correct. The child's size large costume is in near mint condition and features great graphics and a crisp feel. We could find little at all on the company, and nothing related to "SPACE GIRL" or "SPACE EXPLORER". We believe this costume to be from 1950s.
