A antique brass chamberstick style Paraffin or Kerosene Lamp, made in Birmingham, England by Veritas. It has a dome shaped fuel font, mounted on a dish shaped base, and is fitted with loop form carrying handle. It is marked on its base with a large letter V inside a clover leaf, plus - REGISTERED TRADE MARK - BRITISH MADE 50. Its wick winding button is marked ENGLISH MADE 1 IN W - which signifies it is uses a 1" or 26 mm wide wick. Its original glass chimney is marked with a Anchor plus - FIRE PROOF. It measure 10 1/4" or 26 cm high x 6 1/4" or 16 cm wide. It dates to the Edwardian period and is in good working condition. Please see photos
