The BV-1 is an extraordinary tool that allows you to address all of your small work holding needs at just about any angle. Both the chuck and vise assembly can be mounted at 4 different orientations on the Bench Vise Clamp so you can arrange your workpiece at the angle best suited for the task at hand.

This is a great tool for woodworkers, carvers, model makers, model railroad enthusiasts, electronic hobbyists, soldering, jewelry making, watch and clock repair, and tons of other applications. Particularly useful for carving tagua nuts (an ivory substitute) to make inlays for furniture, etc. It's quick to set up and rearrange workpieces as needed for access and comfort.

Made in the USA (unlike new BCTW tools, which are now made in China). It's one of the many high quality, accurate, well-made, and inventive tools from the founder and legendary tool designer, John Economaki, and includes his signature on the vise.
