This NON VACUUM ON OFF RESERVE replacement fuel tap will fit your early bike that has a lever that goes through the frame opening. See our pictures.

This tap has the fuel outlet on the LEFT hand side and this is a NON VACUUM TYPE TAP and so you will have to plug your vacuum tube close to the carburettor.

This is a brand new fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF, RESERVE.

NOTE That you cannot use your old lever with this tap but we send you a lever that works well. See the pictures

The casting of our taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch.

Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original fuel tap. We've tried all that and it just doesn't last, it's not worth wasting time even trying to fix them when you can buy something like this from us!

OK so this tap is not original Kawasaki but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. The quality is as good!

Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, we've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes plus other classic bikes that are just right and these are the best!

We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.

To date, we have had no returns or issues with our supplier and manufacturer.

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

Technical specifications:

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. We have bought them!... and binned them!

* Mounting hole diameter is 6.5mm for your 6mm bolts

* Connection to fuel line: to suit 6.0 mm internal diameter fuel pipe.

NOTE THAT THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE YOUR FUEL PIPE FOR 6mm internal diameter as you original pipe is larger.

OR fit one of our brass reducers which you can buy seperately and can be seen fitted and connected in the second picture. Measure the inside of your pipe and order our 8mm to 6mm Reducer from our shop.

We recommend that you inspect and renew your fuel pipe it it has cracked or is damaged and fit an inline fuel filter. We also sell very good quality green tinted heavy wall thickness and E5 and E10 compliant fuel pipe too.
