Pair of non-identical vintage black soapstone carved Foo Dog guardian statues. Their purpose is to ward off negative energy. Very heavy at 15 pounds for the pair.  Some chips in stone (primarily in the bases) that are consistent with age and wear (see photos). Dinension are roughly 9 inches in height, bases roughly 4 inches by 5 inches.
