Handover Neatsfoot Brush Oil 250ml

A premium conditioning oil trusted by artists, signwriters and craftspeople. It is designed to condition natural brush hairs before and after use in oil or enamel paints, helping keep them soft, flexible and longer lasting. 

This brush oil helps reduce paint build-up, which supports smoother, cleaner brush strokes and helps extend the life of your tools. It is especially useful for signwriting and lettering brushes, where brush shape and edge retention are important. 

The product comes in a 250ml bottle and Handover’s usage guidance is to clean the brush, lightly oil the bristles, shape the brush, and store it. For first use, Handover advises saturating the hairs in neatsfoot oil, shaping the brush, and leaving it upright for at least an hour so the oil can penetrate the ferrule. Before painting, wipe off excess oil and rinse in clean white spirit. After use, clean the brush thoroughly and massage the oil back into the hairs to restore shape and replace natural oils lost during painting and cleaning.
