Genuine WW2 RAF Supermarine Spitfire Cockpit Spade Grip Control (c.1939-45)

This amazing piece of Second World War aircraft memorabilia was rescued from a downed Spitfire in Kent during the war and possibly dates from the official Battle of Britain period, 10th July 1940 until 31st October of the same year. It’s been latterly mounted on a solid mahogany stand and is in overall good wartime used condition with bags of patina, commensurate with its age.

It stands 11”H x 7”W x 6”D, so would fit & look amazing as a display on any collectors desk or cabinet.
