Barbour Ventile Endurance 

- For collectors of archival Barbours. This is the original first release Barbour Ventile, before it was re-named the Endurance and released as the A1005, unpadded (along with the padded Arctic, A1000). 

With buttons above the pockets to hold open the lower pocket flaps, it was not only designed to be used for Hunting but also versatile for day to day country life.

- An exceptional quality piece both in fabric and construction as you'd expect from a vintage Barbour. Fit for purpose and built to last. 

- It's a fantastic all-rounder and versatile for all seasons with layering underneath in autumn/winter. 

Condition

The original hood is missing 

As you can see from the pics there is surface wear to the fabric giving it a washed effect. It's very common with Ventile jackets, similar to denim, it doesn't affect the integrity or waterproofness in anyway. 

The very last button at the front has been replaced with one that looks exactly the same as the others but its just a touch bigger. There is some wear to the inner fold of the collar and the zip pull tab looks used - see last 3 pics. 

Overall it's in excellent used condition, looks and feels great! Lots of life in it yet.
