• It can be used for tapping of round through holes or shallow blind holes, but not being used for blind hole tapping.
• Before tapping, confirm whether the diameter of the round hole is appropriate. If the hole is too small for tapping, the tap will wear out more unnecessarily, which will increase the risk of tap breakage.
• When tapping, first insert the tap so that the centerline of the tap is consistent with the centerline of the drilling hole. Reverse the tap by approximately 45 ° every time it is turned to cut the chips and avoid blockage. If the tap is difficult to rotate, do not increase the rotational force, otherwise, the tap will break. If it encounters difficulty in rotation, the tapping should be suspended. Check the hole diameter and material again, and increase the cooling to reduce the risk of tap damage.
