For auction is this beautiful 1896 One Dollar Silver Certificate commonly referred to as the Educational Note with the mural of history instructing our youth on the obverse. This note is the series "Key" Fr.225 with the signature combination of Bruce and Roberts. In our opinion this note is Choice Almost Uncirculated. It is super crisp with no rips, tears or pinholes. It features razor sharp edges, full even margins and excellent color. The mural displays history instructing our youth with the names of past scholars in wreaths all around the edges. The reverse features portraits of George and Martha Washington. We never enhance our scans so the note you see is the note you will receive.
