For sale is a 1964 Holton Collegiate tenor trombone complete with its original mouthpiece and what I believe is the horn's original case. As you might've noticed in the listing title, I referred to this as a Holton (Super) Collegiate even though the bell does not bear the word "Super". Holton was bought out in 1964 in a turnkey acquisition, at which time some of the company's tooling was switched around and instruments were rumored to have been made with components from other models from the company's lineup. The nickel flare and bronze throat of the bell found on this horn is a hallmark of the Holton Super Collegiate, which is why I've listed it as such. Regardless of what the horn is or might be, purchase if you like what you see - not if you like what I've written here.
The horn plays but will need a chem flush, slide alignment, and cosmetic dent work throughout to be put into a good playing condition. The instrument is sold as-is.
