NO RESERVE auction..... Vintage Cast Iron Unmarked Wagner Chef 9 Inch Skillet X Frying Pan Skillet Smooth Bottom + Thumb Rest. The size is 14 inches to end of handle x 9 1/4 inches spout to spout x 9 inches diameter x 1 5/8 inches tall. Marked on the bottom is Chef Skillet 9 Inch, Made in USA X. This skillet is pictured on page 235 of the Griswold & Wagner Cast Iron Collection Book. There is no carbon build, some slight rusting on the bottom. There is no pitting or uneven or bowing. It sits flat. It will need a good cleaning than a proper seasoning (place in a 500 degree oven for a couple of hours) and you are good to go! This piece still has many many years of life left to it.
