Pair Antique Cast Iron Abraham Lincoln Profile Bookends Doorstops Purdue Foundry.
Remnants of black paint remain. Looks to be firing bursts in the back with one having a burst reach the front that happened during creating these. Surface rust noted overall. The Purdue Foundry Stamped on front of each almost illegible. No chips, cracks or repairs to note. Not sure of age, thinking 1930s. Very heavy. Weigh almost 7 pounds each. Larger than most. Stand 7" tall by 5" wide by 3-7/8" deep. Couldn't find on google search. I haven't tried to clean these. The remaining black paint appears fragile. May be truly one-of-a-kind bookends.
