Vintage Fred Arbogast Mud Bug crankbait measuring approximately 3 inches long (see ruler photo for reference).

This is a classic metal-lipped shallow to medium diving crankbait, designed to produce a tight wobble and vibration on retrieve. The large flat metal bill is a signature feature of the Mud Bug series and helps the lure deflect off structure while diving.

Color appears to be a brown crawfish-style pattern with darker vertical barring, lighter sides, and an orange belly. The underside is stamped:

“FRED ARBOGAST CO.
MUD BUG”

Pre-owned vintage condition.
Hooks are missing.
Shows surface wear, paint aging, and some finish discoloration consistent with age and use. Metal lip shows oxidation/tarnish. Please review photos carefully for exact condition.
