This is an astoundingly rare, large hardback, coffee-table book, The Wizard of Oz Fiftieth Anniversary Edition with Original Script and Songs (Portland House Publishing, 1990) autographed by 20 cast members from the classic film. The large book (size 10"x13", 175 pages) features the film's dialogue and hundreds of full color photos. Autographed in person for me inside are 12 Munchkin actors (little people) and 3 child Munchkins, 1 Flying Monkey / Munchkin actor, 3 Emerald City actresses, and Adriana Caselotti who sang the line "Wherefore Art Thou, Romeo?" during the Tin Man's solo. This comes from the personal collection of Stephen Cox, author of the book The Munchkins of Oz (Cumberland House). This book includes a signed Letter of Provenance from me;  I was fortunate to have each cast member lovingly autograph this book, in my presence, over the period of 10 years during personal visits.

Munchkins signers include:  Jerry Maren (Lollipop Guild; signed twice), Murray Wood, Mickey Carroll, Nita Krebs (Lullabye League), Gus Wayne, Lewis Croft, Karl Slover, Meinhardt Raabe (coroner), Tiny Doll, Ruth Robinson Duccini, Clarence Swensen, and Margaret Pellegrini. Child actresses who portrayed Munchkins include: Priscilla Montgomery (signed twice), Betty Ann Bruno, and Ardith Dondanville. One Flying Monkey (and Munchkin) actor Harry Monty signed as did three Emerald City citizens: Dorothy Barrett, Lois January, and Dona Massin. (Massin was also a choreographer on the film.) And finally, Adriana Caselotti, who sang the line "Wherefore Art Thou, Romeo?" in the Tin Man's solo signed with her famous line written out (Caselotti was the voice of Walt Disney's Snow White in the animated film classic).

All who autographed this book did so on corresponding pages where they appeared in the film, sometimes next to the very image of themselves. Some of the actors also underlined their particular dialogue from the film as shown in the photos.  You'll notice two of the Emerald City actresses signed in green! Today, only one of the actors who signed this book survives. The book is out of print and is in excellent condition with a clear mylar protective cover. Unique. You will not find another extraordinary signed book like this. I'm happy to include a signed Letter of Provenance if the purchaser requests. All signatures are guaranteed authentic.
