If you pay before the invoice, I cannot honor the combined shipment since Ebay will charge me for shipping as paid regardless.  I do not pad shipping charges and the shipping cost will be the lowest available unless you specify otherwise.  All items will be well-packed in a sturdy carton for shipping.

Up for auction is a Bachmann Spectrum Lighted A. T. & S. F. #3019 Diesel Locomotive.

I have reconditioned the locomotive including cleaning the exterior, rebuilding the motor with burnished armature, springs, brushes, and replaced traction tires where needed. Also, I have re-polished electrical pickup wheels and collectors, replaced damaged gears, completely cleaned the remaining gears, and carefully cleaned and lubricated the locomotive.

This special class Spectrum locomotive has dual brass flywheels (to create a more realistic start and stop motion and a can motor with 8 wheel drive and Kadee magnetic couplers on each end. Also, it has directional lighting on each end. The motor operates a little louder due to the 8 wheel gearing.

I have thoroughly track tested the locomotive and it runs very well in both directions—Like New Condition.

I will retest the locomotive prior to shipment to ensure it’s peak performance.

This Bachmann HO locomotive is a replica of a classic A. T. & S. F. Railway diesel locomotive, perfect for model railroad enthusiasts. Additionally, I have always also enjoyed reconditioning locomotives of all gauges and am now concentrating on HO gauge locomotives. I will be listing many reconditioned locomotives this fall including plastic and die-cast steam locomotives and many diesel locomotives as I refurbish them. I will be selling them for what I have invested in acquisition and parts. I do not inflate the cost for my time spent. It is my desire and hope to bring many vintage loco’s in great operating condition to folks who appreciate them.
