Large 32cm antique Edo period Imari porcelain dragon charger plate, vibrant colours, hand painted.

Made in Japan early to mid 19th Century, depicting a dragon in the clouds, clutching a pearl.

Very good condition, no chips or cracks, a few light scratches from use, a small spot of discolouration to the rim. See photographs as part of the condition description.

This is a larger example of a known design and it is in exceptional condition.

It is 32cm in diameter, 5cm high. Weighs 1.3kg.
