A vintage silver-tone filigree purse pendant locket, often attributed to the jewelry designer Arthur Pepper, whose pieces were signed "ART". These novelty lockets were popular in the mid-century era and typically the locket holds a note, a picture or a small scent sachet. The purse is 2" tall and 1-1/2"  wide. The little purse on the necklace does snap shut!  Excellent pre-owned condition.
