Black Bisque Gebruder Heubach 7607 Miniature Character Baby with Spoon & Bowl
The Miniature Black Bisque Doll / Figurine has some dirt and dust in places. (pictured)
It measures about 3.6 inches high by 2.5 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep.
The pictures tend to exaggerate the contrast, including the pinkish hues in places. To my eye, in better CRI lighting the color is a more uniform dark.
The base has a Sunburst GH and a "Made In Germany" stamp.
Likely made sometime between 1912 and 1925.
Figure has Intaglio Eyes and Molded Curls.
Baby is seated with spoon in hand and a spilled porridge bowl.
What appears to be a hairline crack in the pictures looks like the thumb but is painted over with the paint of the spoon.
These were produced in very small numbers, especially in miniature.
I could not find any chips, repairs, or obvious paint touch-ups. However, I am not an expert in this field, so this listing will have free returns available to the buyer.
Baby will be shipped in layered loose tissue with bubble wrap gently over that.
