Artist Edward Wesson was born in South London in 1910, and is best known for his distinctive style of watercolour landscapes. Being mostly self-taught as a watercolour painter, Edward Wesson perfected his style for 20 years before deciding to exhibit. His work led him to become a member of the Royal Society of Marine artists, the Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.
