This auction is for a Simmons Refco .999 Fine Silver Art Bar - Minted by Simmons Refining Company.  This company operated in Chicago, Illinois during the 1960’s and 1970’s, closing in 1982.  Records indicate there were less than 500 of this silver art bar produced making this a very rare item.  The front of the silver art bar features the Simmons logo repeated 3 times with Simmons Refco below the logo twice.  The back of this silver art bar has the Simmons logo at the top with Fine Silver 999+ One Ounce Troy below the logo.  There’s a spot at the bottom for a serial number but the bars were never afforded a serial number.  

This silver art bar is in good circulated condition with toning.
