A nice vintage souvenir railroad pin featuring the historic San Diego & Arizona Railway, known as the “San Diego Short Line to California.” The colorful enamel design depicts the famous route through the mountains and desert that helped connect San Diego with the Imperial Valley. This pin was produced by Sundance Marketing of Portland, Oregon and manufactured in Taiwan.

The San Diego & Arizona Railway, often called the “Impossible Railroad,” remains one of the most fascinating railroad engineering achievements in the American Southwest. This pin is an excellent addition to any railroadiana, transportation, Western history, or enamel pin collection.
