Condition: Vintage used condition with age-related wear and creasing

Original California Western Railroad & Navigation Company excursion ticket issued for travel from Willits to Northspur. This historic railroad operated in Northern California and is best known today as the famous Skunk Train route through Mendocino County’s redwood forests.

The ticket features period typography and route information, including the California Western R.R. & Navigation Company name, excursion ticket designation, destination information, and original fare notation on the reverse. An excellent piece of railroad ephemera from one of California’s most recognizable historic railroads.

Measures approximately 2 3/4 inches by 1 5/8 inches.

Small punch hole present as shown

Age toning consistent with storage and use

Printing remains dark and legible

Edges show light wear

No major tears observed

Reverse retains original $2.00 fare marking
