Antique early 1900s tobacco cigar box felt or flannel liner features the Imperial Russia flag coat of arms design in the center and a decorative border all around the edges. The liner is made of high-quality felt or flannel material and is marked "RUSSIA" in the bottom right corner area. It is printed on both sides. It is in very good condition, but there is some old maybe masking tape residue and some dark staining on one side near the border as shown in photos.  I tried removing some of tape but didn't want to make a hole in it. It is an original piece and rare for its design; perfect for collectors of vintage tobacciana items.  The particular Russia flag design was likely used sometime between 1882-1917 but the usual top middle crown and blue ribbon were removed to maybe fit in the space.  1910-1915 seems to have been the popular period for flag themed cigar box felts.
