My Vixen VMC200L is a 200 MM, 1,950 MM focal length astrograph telescope which I purchased used from the Vixen store.
I fully blacked it out and flocked with light absorbing material from Scope-Stuff, mirrors re-coated by Majestic Optics, collimated on a Holtech Advanced laser, zeroed in with SkyCal digital collimation, the stars are round, holds the collimation reasonable well.
It does have a single speed focuser which does not have any slop, but you can upgrade to the Vixen 37227-0 dual speed if you wish. As you can see, I painted the exterior accessories to match ZWO colors using Dupli-Color MC200 Red Anodized paint. The exterior has some blemishes, minor nicks, but the optics perform reasonably well, it does better on tracking mounts versus standard Alt/Az mounts, does better with a 50% reducer too.
Obviously the hard case looks like it's been through a war, purchased like that, but it does protect the optics. For those with weight restrictions on their mounts, the optical tube weighs 14.4 pounds. I've moved up to a RASA, so my little "Vicky" is odd man out. If you're looking for optics rather than aesthetics, this is one for your consideration. I've got a UPS store nearly walking distance, can get it out to you quickly. Optical tube only, not the AM5N mount or tripod.
Please read this condition description. Vixen does final optic finishing through their coatings, The images you take will not be as sharp with the Al/SiO coating that the mirrors were re-coated with. I opted for the Al/SiO coatings because I usually sharpen my images through Win-11 Photos, then deconvolutie & noise reduction through free Graxpert. The image of the moon was taken with a Canon T31 & a 50% reducer.
