The Ericsson (MediaKind) RX8200 is a 1U rack-mount professional Advanced Modular IRD widely used in satellite broadcast, contribution and distribution. Its modular architecture supports a wide range of input and output cards and it is field-upgradeable via software licence keys. The unit is managed via a built-in web browser GUI, front panel LCD, or SNMP. Configuration can be saved and restored via XML preset files.

This unit has been removed from a working professional broadcast environment.

The unit powers on, is accessible via its web browser interface, but I am unable to test other functions. The unit is sold as seen with the modules and licensed features listed below, I am not able to confirm whether all features or licences required for a specific use case are present or active, and buyers should satisfy themselves by reviewing the licence table below against their requirements before purchasing.
