For sale is a rare original World War I satirical map titled “Hark! Hark! The Dogs do Bark!”, published in London by G.W. Bacon & Co., Ltd. in 1914. This is a well-known “serio-comic map of Europe at war”, featuring period caricature-style allegorical depictions of European countries.
The item is antique and shows age-related wear consistent with its age. The cover is detached and the top-left section is separated/damaged, as shown in the photos. There are also folds, edge wear, paper toning/yellowing, and handling marks.
