This offering is for a vintage ticket stub from the Friday August 25, 1972 football exhibition game between the DETROIT LIONS and the WASHINGTON REDSKINS. The stub measures approx. 1 1/2 x 3 and is in overall VG+ condition with a light crease across the Lion's paw as you can see. The following information was found on the internet: DETROIT, Aug. 25 (AP)—Detroit's youthful Lions scored 20 points in the second quarter tonight on the way to a 23‐10 exhibition victory over the Washington Redskins.The Redskins, under Sonny Jurgensen, roared back at the opening of the second half, with George Nock rambling 39 yards to the Detroit 1 to set up a touchdown pass to Charlie Taylor.
